RETURNS POLICY
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), you have up to 7 working days, starting from the day after you receive your product to cancel and return your order in the original packaging.
In accordance with the CPA, Section 16 provisions, you have the following rights for returns as a consumer that applies to your transactions:
- A general right to return (a ‘cooling off period’), for seven working days after delivery
- For any reason
- Returned in the original packaging
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags/labels, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
The product must be sent to us within 30 calendar days from your notice to us of your cancellation. You are responsible for the return shipping costs of the product when you cancel your purchase.
To start a return process, you can contact us at info@onlineemporium.co.za. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Defective, faulty or non-conforming products:
We encourage you to inspect each product carefully upon receipt. If a product has a defect or fault existing at the time of delivery or otherwise does not conform to your order, you are required to notify us immediately as you have a statutory right to return the product. We strongly encourage you to get in touch with us. If you return a defective, faulty or non-conforming product to us, the product will be inspected at our warehouse. If a defect or fault is found or the product does not match your order, we will be happy to provide a full refund, as long as we are notified in the 7day notice period. Products that have been misused or changed may not be eligible for returns. If you are eligible for a refund, such refund will be processed within 14 calendar days of our receipt of the product.
Exceptions / non-returnable items:
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products or personalized items. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Exchanges:
Please contact us directly for exchanges.
Refunds:
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
